Which mainland port serves Pelee Island on your date?

One of the Great Lakes' trickiest seasonal crossings: Canadian mainland terminals change, an international Sandusky route operates on select dates, and vehicles need reservations.

Before you leave for the dock

STEP 01

Choose the route

Choose a date before driving: the Canadian mainland boarding location changes during the season.

STEP 02

Check the details

Check Sandusky eligibility and border requirements separately if coming from the United States.

STEP 03

Verify the return

Confirm vehicle dimensions and round-trip availability; reserve exact sailings before departure.

Route-specific decisions

Canadian mainland service uses Leamington earlier in the season, switching principally to Kingsville July 29–December 7, 2026.

The mainland–Pelee calculator uses 2026 published fares in Canadian dollars. Sandusky is an international route with separate fares and limited dates.

The final planned 2026 sailing is December 7; winter island air service is a different system.

What is live and what is not?

These tools calculate against operator-published 2026 reference data and your inputs. The date selection does not retrieve ticket inventory or prove a ferry will sail. All current departures, booking availability and cancellations must be checked through the official operator links above. The planner deliberately withholds a total when rates are incomplete.
