What the roll call can and cannot tell you
Save the Manatee Club publishes dated Blue Spring reports after the morning research roll call during manatee season. This page extracts the report date and count, so an older survey is never labeled as today's census. Blue Spring Adventures is retained only as a fallback if the dated report source cannot be read.
Decision rule: use the dated roll call together with the live thermal refuge signal. Cold St. Johns River water and a warm Blue Spring create the conditions that often concentrate manatees in winter.
