The Stabile family's 30-acre estate on US-131 south of town, with a Tuscan patio and a bistro. Estate wine, hybrid reds, craft beer and hard cider, and it took more than 50 medals in its first year in Petoskey.

- Hours: Mon-Thu 11am-7pm, Fri-Sat 10am-7pm, Sun 12pm-6pm. These are the Petoskey tasting room hours. The winery also runs a separate Mackinaw City room on different hours. The site prints Monday through Thursday as 11am to 7am, which is a typo for 7pm.

- City Park Grill, 3.3 miles straight line. The bar on East Lake Street where Hemingway reportedly worked up notes for the short stories. It is still a restaurant, and it is the most direct Hemingway stop in Petoskey itself.
