Pond Hill Farm
A working farm on M-119 just up from Harbor Springs at the start of the Tunnel of Trees, with a winery, a brewery and a farm-to-table cafe. A trout pond, squash rockets and a Yappy Hour for dogs mean it holds a family longer than any other stop in the region.

- Thorne Swift Nature Preserve, 1.4 miles straight line. Cedar swamp boardwalk out to a Lake Michigan dune beach off M-119. Short, shaded and a good leg-stretch between Tunnel of Trees stops.
- Downtown Harbor Springs, 4.2 miles straight line. Three blocks of shops and restaurants on the harbor, the start of the Tunnel of Trees, and the most photographed main street in the region.
