Fall Color and Northern Lights in Michigan: The Equinox Double Feature

For about two weeks in late September, the Upper Peninsula offers something the rest of the year does not: hardwood color at or near peak during the statistically strongest aurora window of the year. This is how to plan for both at once.

Why Late September Is Different
