What makes this waterfall different?
An easy-to-see roadside cascade with a very different access profile from forest hikes. Roadside falls with traffic hazard. Do not use the waterfall point as a driving destination.
After rainfall or snowmelt; some flow is seasonal. These are typical seasonal characteristics, not a prediction for a particular date. Spring volume, rain, low water and ice can change the appearance and the safest viewing points.
Before you leave the car
Do not stop or park along travel lanes. Use only legal designated pullouts and do not cross M-28 on the strength of these directions. A seasonal roadside trickle should not be represented as a guaranteed high-volume waterfall.
Remain on designated trails and platforms. Wet roots, drop-offs and powerful currents can create hazards well beyond the actual plunge pool.
