The Detroit board compares park weather, active NWS hazards, drive friction and seasonal migration context. A birding card can rise when the day supports being outside and the season makes bird movement relevant.
That is a planning signal. It is not evidence that a particular species was seen there today.
After choosing a place window here, open the Michigan Birding Report for recent observations, notable species and hotspots. Keeping those two jobs separate prevents weather or migration season from being misrepresented as a sighting.
Lake St. Clair Metropark's nature trails cross wet woods, shrublands and marsh habitat, and Metroparks identifies its Main Trail as useful for warblers in spring and fall. Belle Isle, Kensington and other Southeast Michigan places can surface when their live conditions make the outing stronger.
