Which Niagara bridge should you take right now?
Compare the current official border waits first, then see which Niagara bridge actually fits your route, traveler type and crossing rules.

What is happening there
Live border delay, bridge-operator traffic, approach context, weather and trip details for the bridge you are actually likely to use.

All four crossings
Think of these as four different routes with different jobs—not four interchangeable lines at the same toll booth.
Get oriented
The map spans the Niagara River from Buffalo and Fort Erie north through Niagara Falls to Lewiston and Queenston. Tap a marker for the bridge role and its camera source when one is available.
Map locations are for orientation, not turn-by-turn routing. The bridge operator and border agencies remain the controlling sources for eligibility, closure and wait information.
Know what you are looking for
Each crossing looks and feels different. These reference photographs help connect the live decision to the bridge you will actually approach.
Visual traffic check
Use the cameras as a visual check on plaza queues and approach conditions. A camera image does not replace the official direction-specific border wait or a closure notice.

NITTEC publishes dedicated Rainbow Bridge camera views, including traffic looking toward Canada and toward the United States.
NITTEC provides bridge and plaza camera views on both sides of the crossing, useful for checking queues before committing to Highway 405 or I-190.
Keep Whirlpool in the map and bridge imagery, but do not imply camera coverage that is not available. Use NFBC's traffic page for the crossing's current operator status.
Camera authority: NITTEC currently lists nine international-bridge cameras across the Niagara crossings. Peace Bridge also maintains its own webcam pages. Whirlpool Rapids remains separately labeled rather than borrowing a nearby camera.

Straight answers before you drive
The lowest posted customs number is not automatically the best trip. The live comparison above first removes crossings you cannot use, keeps U.S.-bound and Canada-bound sources separate, and only recommends leaving your natural corridor when the reported savings are large enough to justify it.

No. Whirlpool is a specialized trusted-traveler crossing. Check Whirlpool Rapids eligibility, hours and wait context before treating it as an option.
The live recommendation starts with published crossing restrictions, then compares fresh official waits for the same direction and traveler type. It will not send you to another bridge for a tiny reported difference that is likely to disappear in the extra drive. Approach traffic is shown separately until a validated route-time feed can be included.
Whirlpool Rapids remains a special case: it is NEXUS-only, and Niagara Falls Bridge Commission says its wait information does not have the same real-time technology as the other crossings.
